What do you have to do?

Step 1: Snap!

Take (at least) five photo’s of your bag (front, back, side, bottom and any relevant brand marks and serial numbers)

The better your photos are, the faster your items sell. So make sure you photograph the item in the best light possible, use a neutral background (preferably white) and don’t forget to photograph every little important detail and flaw. Do you have any authenticity cards, invoices or original boxes, dustbags or labels? Great! Make sure you add a photo of these too.

 Step 2: Write!

Write a short description that includes:

• Brand, model, material, colour
• Measurements
• Date of purchase (if known)
• Condition (excellent, very good, good, fair condition)
• Vintage or not

This is the time for your sales talk! Use the description to really endorse your item, but stay honest. It might be tempting to ‘forget’ to mention certain flaws or imperfections or to overestimate the quality of your item. Please remain as truthful as you can be because it will only increase the chances that your bag will not be accepted or that it will be returned by the buyer.

Step 3: Money!

Tell us the price you like to sell the item for. Your desired price should be based on original price, the condition, the age and the popularity of the item. If you don’t know what price to ask for your item, we are happy to help. 

Step 4: You!

Provide us with your personal details: Name, address, telephone number, e-mail address. No need to give us your bank details at this stage. We will only ask for your bank account number after your item was approved to be sold on the Joanna V. platform. When the item is sold, we will pay you within 7 days. We will never make any personal information public.
